Welcome!
Welcome to the Jersey Shore Brewery. At the moment, we're a small, privately owned nanobrew which isn't for sale anywhere (yet). Our line of "Smart Ass" Beers can be enjoyed at picnics and barbecues, but they're strictly invitation only. We make our Beers from the finest all-natural ingredients, one small batch at a time. After that, they go to our kegging and distribution departments, and after an appropriate aging period (ranging from a few weeks to several months, depending on the type of beer), they're ready to be enjoyed.Check out our "On Tap Now" section for details on what's currently available, what's currently fermenting, and what's planned for the future.

Winter Hibernation Over!
Jeff, Thursday 08 April 2010 - 09:28:00AM //
Okay, the snow has finally melted, and we're back to doing what we love, making (and drinking) beer! Plans are set for our annual Memorial Day Brew-haha, and this year we're introducing a new product, our Hard Lemonade! If you're in the neighborhood, drop by for a sample!
Finally Summertime!
Jeff, Wednesday 27 May 2009 - 09:13:15AM //
Well, Memorial Day has came and went, and with it went the Cheap Ass Cologne. Our Irish Red was popular as well.
Some old friends dropped by and helped to dwindle our beer supplies, so it looks like in addition to the Tripel, we'll have to get brewing between now and the 4th of July to ensure we've got a good stock on hand.
We've got a temporary bar set up (until I get a chance to build the permenant one), and the TV has survived another winter outdoors and is working fine.

The Summer Lineup

While the weather's been warming (slowly), we've been busy brewing! Remember, it takes over a month from the time we make the beer until it's time to drink the beer, more in some cases.
In preparation for the coming warmer weather, we cooked up another batch of our Jenny Cream Ale. We also started our Belgian Tripel, which should be done in time for the 4th of July (it's got to spend a couple of months doing secondary fermentation before we can even think of kegging it). At the moment, it's still busy fermenting (after a week and a half), trying to reach its astounding 10% alcohol by volume.
Which, of course, creates a problem. What the heck do we call it? The first thing that came to mind was "Holy Sh*t!", but that doesn't have any tie-in to our "Smartass" beer line. Hopefully we'll come up with something before it's ready...

It's been a while...

There hasn't been a lot going on over the winter. Slowed beer consumption has been holding up production, as there's no place to put it. As the weather gets warmer that should change, and I don't expect our Irish Red to survive St. Patty's day anyway. The big Memorial Day BBQ is right around the corner!
